The Office Administrator is an integral part of all efforts at MAIA Education Resource Center. The ideal Office Administrator is innovative, self-motivated, energetic, and highly organized. They have a demonstrable capacity to engage with clientele, staff, and professionals alike, and they have an exceptionally strong commitment to customer service.
This is a full-time, onsite position requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination upon hire
The Office Administrator responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
· Support with data entry, scheduling, payroll processing (training provided).
· Assist with hiring and supporting tutors, and supporting clients
· Conduct research on programs, new schools, and maintaining information in spreadsheets.
· Navigate new and current client inquiries.
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any potential problem or misunderstanding
· Support with event planning and execution
· Support with marketing administration
· Other administrative tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, or related field preferred
· 2+ years’ experience in Education preferred
· Lived experience with and/or work-related experience with the New York Educational landscape (day schools, boarding schools, college)
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· High level of emotional intelligence
· Expert problem-solving skills
· Proficiency with Google & Microsoft suites
· Familiarity with Zoom and WhatsApp; ability to adapt to new technology required
· Bilingual Spanish, French, or Portuguese a plus
