Asbury Care Center of San Antonio currently seeks a full time, part time or prn Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal OT will have a passion for providing the best possible care for our patients, a creative mind and the ability to develop programs specific to your patient's needs, and the desire to be a team player with all facility staff. Asbury of San Antonio is a super SNF with a high percentage of high acuity patients and the ability to admit vent and trach patients as well as a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological diagnoses. Day in the Life of an Occupational Therapist

• Maintains timely and accurate patient records and reports.
• Supervise Assistant / Aide staff as guided by governing board
• Designs and fabricates splints as specified by doctors' prescriptions
• Designs and administers treatment programs to increase patients' (residents) levels of functioning.
• Uses therapeutic exercises and activities to improve or maintain strength, range of motion, and fine-motor coordination.
