Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking a full time Obstetrics/ GYN Faculty Generalist - to join our team at Riverside Brentwood Medical Education in Newport News, Virginia.
Riverside Medical Group is expanding its specialty network and recruiting for physicians to join one of our many locations. Our providers specialize in obstetrics and gynecology, but our holistic approach to a woman's health extends beyond the reproductive system. Our skilled team of physicians and advanced practice providers look at all of the conditions that may impact a woman's quality of life. Our experienced, board certified providers, coupled with the latest diagnostic techniques, deliver the kind of care you deserve along with a comprehensive array of services including:
- General OB-GYN
- Pregnancy & Birth
- Gynecologic care and surgery
- Annual gyn exams
- Obstetrical care and surgery
- Breastfeeding support
- Contraception Counseling
- Hormone replacement therapy
- Menstrual cycle issues
Education
- Doctoral Degree MD/DO, Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine (Required)
Experience
- 1-3 years Successful completion of residency or demonstrated experience in medical specialty (Required)
Skills
- Strong oral written communication skills
- Collaborative approach with other physicians and providers
Licenses and Certifications
- Physician License (MD) - Virginia Board of Medicine (Required)
- Valid DEA pf controlled substances registration (Required)
