ROLE SUMMARY

The Nurse Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the department/unit. The Nurse Manager supervises nursing services that are delivered to each patient in accordance with quality standards and serves as a role model to staff and other employees.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Education: Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Experience: Three years of nursing experience required.

Licenses/Certificates/Registration: State of Washington (DOH) Registered Nurse licensure required. American Heart Association BLS required. ACLS and/or PALS certification requirement determined by department/unit.
