Certified Nurse Aides care for residents under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse and a licensed practical nurse. The position requires successful completion of the training course by demonstrating the individual's competency in skills and techniques necessary to care for residents' needs, as identified through resident assessments and described in the plan of care. The Nurse Aide position requires patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the frail elderly in a gentle and empathetic manner.
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Willing to work a flexible schedule (including weekends)
- Desire to work with senior adults
- Possess a team spirit, good character and personal integrity
