Our nurse aide program is designed to ensure that candidates have all the skills, training and opportunity to pass the Nurse Aide Certification process. While in CNA school, you also have the opportunity to be a Hospitality Aide for the facility. These responsibilities include: Answers call lights to determine resident needs. Distributes linens, makes beds. Serves and collects food trays, performs tray monitor. Transports residents, using wheelchair or wheeled cart. Passes fluids, nourishment to residents who do not require assistance. Cleans utility rooms, storage areas, and resident rooms/closets/drawers. Stocks supplies, empties soiled linen and incontinence barrels. Monitors smoking room. Cover front desk as needed, etc. This is NOT free training for people who just want their CNA certification.
