Nuclear Medical Tech Job at River Oaks Hospital LLC
Responsible for obtaining diagnostic quality nuclear medicine examinations according to pre-established guidelines. Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience. The Lead provides leadership to the department/shift of a designated area. Uses the established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all licensed and non-licensed care givers and support staff in the delivery of patient care during their assigned shift. The Lead also assumes CT Testing responsibilities and patient care during their shift.
Graduate of a radiographer and nuclear medicine technologist program. One (1) year of clinical Nuclear Medicine Technology experience in an acute care setting is preferred. Shift oversight or supervisory experience is preferred. Licensure in Medical Radiation with the state of Mississippi is required. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology and either Nuclear Medicine Technology or Certified with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). BLS Certification is required.
