Job Title: Lima Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Manager

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

• Responsible for troubleshooting, repairs and the preventive maintenance duties on various plant equipment.
• Provides assistance to operations with machine setup as needed.

ESSENTITAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs to various equipment.
• Performs scheduled repairs & PM’s to various equipment.
• Provides assistance to operations with machine setup as needed.
• Uses technical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic to aid in the troubleshooting and repair of various equipment.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TOO

• Lock Out Tag Out
• Follow all Food Safety regulations
• Wear hearing protection in all areas of the plant
• Follow all common employee safety practices
• Must understand MSDS sheets and the safe use of chemicals
• Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
• No blocking of emergency exits, fire doors or eye wash stations

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical training; exposure to high-speed equipment
• 2+ years of related experience in packing machines/production machines

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
