In a hangar adjacent to McConnell AFB that once housed Boeing Air Force One modification facilities, the MRO team at NIAR WERX provides production design, initial and Supplemental Type Certification, instrumentation installation, modifications and field support/repair. We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our team!

Summary of Responsibilities

This position is responsible for supporting the build of the aircraft. Pulls parts and assembles kits of parts that are needed. Communicates and collaborates with quality regarding any aircraft discrepancies. Responsible for daily and weekly status updates with internal partners and customers.

• Troubleshoots technical problems and issues and recommends actions
• Pulls parts and assembles kits of parts that are needed
• Tracks and communicates all non-routines
• Orders necessary parts and tools for the aircraft
• Delivers parts to the crews when they arrive; returns unused and/or wrong parts
• Responsible for daily and weekly status updates with internal partners and customers
• Maintains effective communications with customers and team members to better understand support requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent by date of hire.
• Three (3) years of related experience; General knowledge of inventory management i.e., cycle counting, inventory reconciliations, receiving/storing of finished products, etc.
• Working knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety rules and regulations as they apply to workplace safety and environmental aspects.
• Excellent customer service skills necessary to defuse situations with internal and external customers and maintain mutually beneficial customer relations.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills.
• Demonstrated planning and organization skills necessary to plan, prioritize and coordinate workload of assigned employees within a multiple project setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
