POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for supervision of newborn hearing screeeners and oversight of day to day scheduling and operations to ensure appropriate affiliate hospital coverage. This includes the consistent implementation and adherence to organizational policies and procedures as well as oversight of human resource managament such as: payroll, time and attendance, coaching and mentoring of the team's performance.
Location : Based onsite out of St.Petersburg, BUT will travel to Bayfront Baby Place, St. Petersburg General, Brandon Regional, and HCA Florida Hospital- Trinity
Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of an Associate's Degree.
Three to five years of experience with hospital newborn hearing screening and/or a comparable area of experience.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with strong interpersonal and team building skills; familiarity with medical terminology.
Current BLS certification, AHA.
Ability to prioritize and make sound decisions.
Ability to supervise a team of Newborn Hearing Screeners.
Knowledge of computer systems and electronic medical records.
Ability to travel to various work locations is required.
