Job Description
The New Business Development Consultant acts as the liaison between sales, marketing, and management to develop new business and grow and maintain existing business. They will work closely with the marketing and sales team to identify prospects, build interest, increase awareness, and set up touch plan leading to qualified opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate business development efforts, including incoming lead processing, market research, client relationships, and developing leads through email and marketing campaigns.
- Develop business and account development plans.
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships as account manager with existing clients
- Classify lead based on sales readiness, inclusive of disqualifying, all throughout the lead life cycle - from marketing to sales qualification to sales accepted lead
- Act as a liaison between sales team and other departments to resolve client issues
- Research and identify target prospects using tools such as LinkedIn, Google and our CRM.

Qualifications:
- 1 - 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Technical Aptitude
- Bachelor’s degree (a degree in an Engineering Discipline a plus)
- Technical sales experience in the industrial sector a plus
- Material Handling automation design and sales experience a plus
- CAD experience (AutoCAD a plus)
- Travel to regional offices, client sites and trade shows a requirement (approximately 10 - 25%)
