Neurointensivist (NI) Job at First Choice Neurology
We are looking for someone with the desire to grow and expand their career in a fun and challenging specialty. The candidate must possess the willingness to learn, strong interpersonal skills, strive for ensuring excellent patient care and work well in a collaborative environment.
This is an established and growing national organization that has a Neurohospitalist program at an 800-plus-bed regional medical health system in Miami. We are actively looking for a neuro-intensivist to join the team. You will work in a highly desired 7 on/ 7 off block schedule from 7 am to 7 pm. The rounds depend on the acuity of the patient, most are done rounding by 6 pm. There is a very light call of 1:2 where you may get called back about once per week for an average of 1 to 2 hours. You will only be called if it is about neurologic critical care. You will see an average of 14 to 16 patients plus floor consults.
