Network Technician

CenClear is looking for a full-time Network Technician.

Purpose: To provide ongoing reflective support to employees in the most efficient and effective way of delivering network-related tasks. In order to support growth and change, we will utilize social learning and professional development to guarantee changes to the network and infrastructure are planned and executed in a democratic fashion where we communicate openly with all departments involved.

Location: Office will be located in Bigler, PA. This position will be traveling to all CenClear locations to provide physical support for installing and maintenance of networks (as needed).

General Description of Duties:

Administer company network; perform server, network maintenance; maintain applications, implement security and network configurations. Research new technology and support of the day-to-day activities of the Network Operations Department. Individual must have strong working knowledge of Windows server, Cisco Voice over Internet Protocol, strong attention to detail, organization skills, and discretion with confidential information. Monitors use of network, email, and internet use. Collaborates with outside agencies and contracts for pricing, evaluation of products, technical support and knowledge base information. Troubleshoots network systems and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operations difficulties. Configures and maintains network equipment. Maintains network-related & software site licenses for department and organization.

Qualifications:

• Four-year Computer Science Degree preferred
• Two-year Computer Science Degree or Certification or Diploma from Computer Technical School

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to reach overhead.
• Lift and carry objects over thirty (30) pounds.
• Bend to reach objects from the floor.
• Stand for extended period of time with reasonable breaks.
• Assist in relocating office furniture.
• Operate office machines.
• Sit for extended period of time with reasonable breaks.
• Vision and hearing within normal limits.
