Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

  • Performs routine maintenance tasks within computing environment.
  • Develops resolutions to new issues or identifies alternative solution actions.
  • Resolves and troubleshoots software issues and performs updates/upgrades as required.
  • Resolves recurring issues and confirms configurations are according to documented best-practices.
  • Interacts with staff on matters affecting information and communication systems and makes recommendations for improvement to job processes to ensure standards in data entry, collection, and retrieval.
  • Ensures that all actions pertaining to support tasks are completely documented in the Help Desk system.
  • Creates technical knowledge base documentation.
  • Administers user access to network resources and authentication systems.
  • Responsible for telephony and emergency alert systems.
  • Engages vendor support when necessary to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Stays current and knowledgeable of changes in Information Technology by reading trade magazines, technical manuals, and internet research.
  • Works closely with support teams and sharing information of all product enhancements/ latest releases.
  • Assists in the implementation of IT related projects, and conducts tasks directed

from the SantaFe Senior Living IT Manager

  • Assists in the procurement of quotes/RFQ’s for new equipment/projects.

Requirements:

  • Computer-related Associates Degree or equivalent 3+ years’ experience.
  • Comptia A+ certification or equivalent experience.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of current Microsoft Windows Operating systems

and management technologies.

  • Knowledge of end-user hardware (Laptop, PCs, Printers, Devices).
  • Knowledge of Audio-Video equipment and configuration.
  • Experience with automation technologies.
  • Experience utilizing debugging tools and lab simulations to analyze problems

and identify solutions.

  • Experience with remote access solutions.
