The AmeriCorps Neighbor Navigator will establish relationships with neighbors, either through the Neighbor Support Center or the Teen Center at CitySquare Paris. Members will create rapport with neighbors and gain trust to help neighbors develop skills to make positive choices. Duties include updating resource database for neighbors seeking supportive services, performing initial intake registration for participants, connecting neighbors with supportive services as it relates to food security, education, life skills or other needs, coordinating activities and special events for CitySquare Paris and assisting in outreach programs, and supporting CitySquare Paris volunteers by giving instructions and orienting volunteers to program procedures.

Benefits of becoming a CitySquare AmeriCorps Member:
- CitySquare AmeriCorps Members receive a $4,500 living allowance (broken down and paid in twice monthly installments during the term - $1,388 per month)

Minimum Qualifications:
- Available from May 15 – August 18, 2023
- Available 35 hours per week: Monday-Friday, with a schedule of either 8:30am to 4:00pm or 11:30am to 6:00pm.
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Deferred action and temporary permanent resident do not qualify)
- Able to access reliable transportation
- Able to pass a criminal background check
Preferred qualifications:
- Preferred one-year experience in a non-profit setting as a paid employee or volunteer, and/or experience in social work, human service or a related field
