Continuum Care Services is an outpatient behavioral health practice, nationally accredited by the Joint Commission. We have immediate opening a full-time (40 hours/week), dedicated, fully licensed addiction counselors to serve our Troy, NC branch. Professional credentials must be North Carolina Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist and/or Certified Clinical Supervisor, verifiable on the NC Addictions Specialist Professional Practice Board. An associate-level license does not meet the qualifications for this supervisory (Team Lead) position. Dually licensed to serve both substance use and mental health populations is preferred, with compensation at the higher end of the pay range, based on experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate for this position must have experience assessing, counseling, and coordinating case management/referrals for adults seeking recovery support for addictions and co-morbidities. Must demonstrate the ability to complete strong clinical documentation in accordance with organizational guidelines and standards, as well as those of the State, and the Joint Commission. Current enrollment in NC Tracks and CAQH is required prior to beginning work (Day 1). Must be on-site to supervise and co-facilitate groups during the scheduled group sessions, which are typically Monday - Friday (4 hours/day). Hours outside of group sessions are dedicated to providing and documenting clinical supervision, weekly clinical team meetings, individual and family counseling, clinical assessment/re-assessment, and treatment planning, including discharge/transition planning.

This licensed professional must be knowledgeable and willing to perform intake and screenings, intensive outpatient substance use treatment, comprehensive clinical assessments, and care coordination/case management. Services are primarily provided in the office and from time to time, in the community. Experience faciliting groups and leading teams is required. Previous experence implementing The Matrix Model evidence-based practice is preferred, however training is available post-hire.

The individual operating in this capacity must demonstrate the ability to operate both independently and as part of a team. Strong, professional communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to efficiently follow-up and follow-through on commitments and tasks is important for this role. Attendance, dependability, clinical and documentation skills, leadership, and accountability play a big part in the success of the person filling this role.

As a seasoned clinician, this individual must be able to operate as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Clinical documentation is due within 24-hours of services rendered. Must demonstrate ability to complete sound clinical documentation using the electronic health record. Basic keyboarding and computer skills are required. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
