The Center for Music Therapy and Wellness, LLC serving Southwest, MO, has an opening for a full-time music therapy position. We are a diverse private practice with a large clinic space, located on the campus of Drury University, with an additional office in Southwest MO. This position will be located in Rolla MO working at the BW Robinson State School. The music therapist for this position will be based out of Rolla, providing services at the State School and teletherapy services with other clients throughout the state. Starting date for this position is August 1, 2023.
Qualifications:
Music Therapist- Board Certified; 1 year of prior experience preferred, particularly in the areas of developmental disabilities. We are looking for applicants that are highly motivated, work well independently, are creative, thrive in a diverse setting, and will work with both individuals and groups. Strong knowledge of the AMTA Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics are required. The ideal candidate should have excellent music skills including piano, guitar, and vocal skills. Applicants must also have excellent oral and written communication skills and be a team player. This job will require some early evening hours and occasional weekends.
Reliable transportation is required.
Compensation is competitive and based on experience.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
