Required: High school graduate or equivalent.Graduate of an Allied Health Program, or Bachelor’s of Medicine in which the curriculum included education and/or experience in rhythm interpretation, or graduate of a Nursing Program. Current certification as Cardiovascular Technician, Certified Surgical Technologist, Paramedic Certificate, current PA LPN license, or RN license. Completion of Basic Dysrhythmia Course or successful completion within 60 days of hire.

Job Summary: Responsible for 24 hours observation, interpretation, and documentation for inpatient adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients on the cardiac monitored nursing units (except 6A-ICU, 6R-ICU, RICN, Obstetrics). Communicates the appropriate rhythm trending reports to the designated nursing units/nurses. Practices in accordance with organizational policies.
