Arthur Joseph Executive Search Group is hiring Mold Makers for a plastic injection molding company in Rochester Hills, MI. The Mold Maker is responsible for completing new tools & engineering changes along with troubleshooting and correcting any issues that occur with injection molds. Mold Maker must be able to work independently, be self-motivated, and contribute as a team member.
Responsibilities:
- Completes engineering changes and modifies injection molds.
- Troubleshoots and repairs injection molds.
- Diagnose and correct electrical or hot runner system repairs, and manufacture new hydraulic and water lines.
- Operate surface grinder, drill press, and engine lathe
- Spot and polish tools
- Operate forklift and overhead crane
- 2 - 10 years of tool & die-making experience in plastic injection molds are preferred. (We are willing to train)
- An ability to read part prints
- Experience in (milling, precision grinding, polishing, spotting, and fitting).
- Crane and Hilo Experience
- EDM experience is a plus
- Electrical and hydraulic (as it relates to molds) experience is a plus.
