Seeking advancement and a rewarding career opportunity? The Mid-Atlantic Water Lead position a senior position as part of Kennedy Jenks’ growing Mid-Atlantic operations. The successful candidate for this unique position is highly motivated and uses their energy, relationships, and drive to lead the capture and delivery of projects; engage and collaborate with Kennedy Jenks’ overall resources; connect Kennedy Jenks to client needs; and grow Kennedy Jenks’ presence throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
Role:
The Mid-Atlantic Water Lead position is a key position to further our growth. As a senior team member, you will work closely with Kennedy Jenks leadership to engage the marketplace to identify project opportunities, build high performance teams, and work with Kennedy Jenks technical experts to pursue and win opportunities. You will build, lead, and motivate teams to provide unsurpassed client service on projects that we deliver. You will be responsible for the delivery of projects from the planning phase through construction, providing engineering expertise on projects in the region. As you deliver our projects for our clients, you will strengthen client relationships and support the expansion of Kennedy Jenks throughout the market.
Responsibilities:
- Client and professional engagement to develop and enhance personal and corporate brand awareness and identify new opportunities and partnerships to trigger growth
- Developing and implementing business development strategies
- Leading delivery of multi-discipline engineering projects
- Travel to client and project sites and to other Kennedy Jenks offices will be necessary
Qualifications:
- Enthusiasm for client focus, team building, and leadership
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent client service and interact positively with clients
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the planning and design of complex water/wastewater projects
- Strong technical knowledge of the water/wastewater industry
- Strong writing and communication skills to deliver an exceptional work product
- BS or MS in Civil, Chemical, Environmental, or similar engineering field
- Virginia PE license
- Design-Build experience and DBIA certification is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
