- This position is in our Providence Forge office responsible for providing services to Charles City and New Kent counties.
- Position requires knowledge of mental health and substance abuse outpatient treatment to individuals, groups, and families with a wide range of psychiatric, emotional, relational, substance use or social problems.
- Provides crisis counseling and intervention services
- Responsible for providing individual, group and family therapy as well as case management services
- Requires skills in the provision of substance use and mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults
- Responds to emergency needs in the area
- Position requires ability to consult with other agencies and community groups
- Responsible for providing educational presentations to community or professional groups.
- Job duties require evening work.
- LPC or LCSW is required. Co-occurring experience in mental health and substance abuse strongly preferred.
- Valid Virginia driver's license required. TB Screening and Child Protective Services Record Check required, upon hire.
