Metal Finisher Job at Forms+Surfaces Inc
As a Metal Finisher associate and part of our Pittsburgh manufacturing team, you will be assisting in the production process to prep/polish materials and products for the painting, powder coating, & assembly areas.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ability to use hand and belt sanders to finish product.
- Capable of reading and understanding blueprints, job orders, and drawings.
- Remove dents, scratches, and defects from metal surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Cut, burn, grind, sand, & drill materials as necessary.
- Ensure the proper use of safety equipment and abide by company safety policies at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Experience in the manufacturing industry
- Knowledge and training of the use of power tools and hand tools
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and job orders
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, stand reach, pull, lift and carry items in the warehouse
- Able to work overtime and/or weekends when needed
