Merchandise Seller (Hamilton Store)

THE ROLE:

Creative Goods Merchandise LLC (“CREATIVE GOODS”) is a dynamic full-service merchandising company based in NYC with a bold vision for the live entertainment space. Our experienced team of industry professionals works to establish partnerships built on trust, allowing us to better serve clients through clear communication, a streamlined workflow, and creative product that captures the imagination.

Reporting directly to the Multi-Seller Merchandise Manager (“Manager”), the The Hamilton Store Merchandise Seller (“Seller”) is a non-exempt position that works closely with patrons to determine needs, answer questions, and sell products. The Sellers must project a positive image of Creative Goods, the client, and venue in all circumstances and must represent and foster the culture, values, and mission of Creative Goods in their work, be a stellar representative of CG, their clients, and venues. We’re looking for someone self-motivated with proven experience and who is a strong collaborator.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  Greeting patrons.
• Sell merchandise.
• Process cash and credit card transactions.
• Maintain ongoing knowledge of products, prices, and promotions.
• Answer merchandise-related questions.
• Receive, process, and replenishing inventory.
• Fold and prep merchandise to be sold.
• Ensure locations are clean, tidy, and ready for selling periods.
• Create an environment that facilitates customer’s needs and exceeds expectations.

Required Knowledge / Qualifications

• Retail experience is desired.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient organizational skills.
• Adaptable to change.
• Self-motivated and outgoing.

Working Conditions

• 
  Have the ability to climb ladders and maneuver stairs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be willing to work in all weather conditions, including extreme cold and heat.
