Member Service Associate

As a Member Service Associate, you are responsible for signing up new members, registering them for classes, taking payments, answering phones, overseeing the membership gates, greeting members and giving out information as needed in a timely, courteous, and friendly manner.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- You must enjoy interacting with the community and helping individuals begin their journey to health; caring attitude with a strong focus on member service
- You should have good judgment and ability to communicate information clearly to prospective and current members
- You should have a tactful and courteous manner in problem-solving and conflict resolution
- Must pass a background check and complete new hire training modules within 2 weeks of start date.
- Computer literate
- You will need to acquire knowledge of Countryside' classes and facilities, and be able calendar-aware while answering member questions.
- You should be able to handle money with ease and accuracy
Hours and Days: Evening and weekend shifts available
Rate of Pay: $10.10/hour

Part-time staff working at least 16 hours per quarter receive a free individual membership to the Countryside YMCA! This position may require more then the minimum hours noted depending on business needs.
