The Job
The Medicare Product Specialist will be responsible for researching and mining data, modeling and analyses to develop and support Medicare product innovation and the growth objectives of the organization.
You Will
Research, compile, and report key information in order to facilitate membership growth and expansion efforts.
Provide research and analytical support during the design, development and implementation of annual health plan benefits
Profile new market opportunities following internally identified formats and data points researching publicly accessed data.
Support expansion opportunities by laying the foundation for network development through lead generation and monitoring progress through frequent network reporting.
Utilize quarterly regulatory reports to conduct competitive analysis, including market share and benefit analysis.
Manage the Health Plan Management System (HPMS) expansion and product data entry process.
Manage mapping and access analysis via the Quest Analytics Software.
Support quality control activities related to the Annual Regulatory Mailings, the Annual Bid Submission, benefits and bid documentation, other processes performed by the Medicare Products Team.
Maintain SQL code and Access databases and assist with development of new database objects and reports.
Maintain desktop procedures by updating documentation with new and modified processes, as needed.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 3+ years of data analysis experience required.
- Strong data research skills required.
- Strong MS Office skills required. Specific expertise with Excel V-look ups and Macros, as well as Access skills needed.
- Practical experience with Health Plan Management System (HPMS).
- Practical experience with Quest Analytics Software.
- Strong Internet search and retrieval skills required.
- SQL experience preferred.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and high accuracy in work product.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills; Ability to multitask.
- Ability to appropriately maintain confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, required.
