Medical Technologist Job at Acton Medical Associates, P.C.
The primary focus of the Medical Technologist position is specimen processing, test performance and reporting test results. Responsibilities involving patient samples include, but are not limited to: Chemistry, Hematology and Microbiology testing, quality assurance, problem resolution, result reporting, facility management, phlebotomy, supply ordering and stocking, lab related customer service and special projects. The MT must have the degree of skill, education, training, and experience require by CLIA to perform high complexity testing and be able to consistently provide the highest quality laboratory service to our patients and medical providers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with MT (ASCP) registration or equivalent.
- Two years of clinical laboratory experience and demonstrated leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to operate sophisticated technical equipment, solve problems and document corrective actions.
