Salary: "Please note that the job posting rates for this position are $14.25 to $19.12, the salary offered will follow the starting salary guidelines which are typically made at or near the minimum of the salary range. However, a salary may be negotiated above the minimum range depending on applicable years of experience and qualifications."

General Description
Under the general supervision of a registered nurse, is responsible for performing moderately complex medical aide work. Assist nurses in obtaining reports and records from medical records. Performs nursing functions as appropriate. Assists medical staff in performing procedures. Performs related work as assigned and trained.

Minimum Qualification

Graduate standard senior high school of equivalent is generally preferred. (GED). Graduation of an accredited school of vocational nursing. Valid Texas LVN License. Must have a good driving record, Texas issued license, and at minimum motor vehicle liability insurance coverage.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of the principles and practices of patient care. Skill in the use of equipment used in patient care. Ability to plan, evaluates, and provides patient care. In the course of being employed, understands and implements trauma informed care practices.
