The Opportunity
- Greet all patients in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
- Answer and screen incoming phone calls and take and relay messages in a timely manner
- Collect payments for services rendered and discharge patients and accurately post/document payments received
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly workstation
- Schedule appointments and process patient registration into the computer database
- Flexible to work an 8-hour schedule between 7:30am - 7:30 pm (including possible weekends)
Required Experience and Competencies
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service position, or as a Medical Receptionist
- Medical assistant experience or interest is preferred
- Management with authorizations/utilizations management is a plus
- Good written and verbal communication skills, and numerical aptitude
- Proficient in notetaking with clarity and correct spelling
- Basic computer skills
