Experienced Front Desk Receptionist to work in a well-established private mental health practice at our central Sarasota location.
Multitasking ability, excellent communication and computer skills are a must!
Previous experience working in mental health office is a plus.
Full time 35-40 hours per week
Must be flexible with working hours (our office is open from 7 am to 7pm, Mon-Fri)
Responsibilities include:
- Answering phones
- Admitting patients
- Scheduling appointments
- Working to maintain the providers' schedules
- Entering Patient's Data into an electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Calling insurance companies to check patient's benefits and get authorization for treatment
- Sending/Receiving Medical Records
- Collecting copays, deductibles, and balances
- Scanning documents
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- At least 2 yeas of medical office experience / Mental Health office experience preferred
-Reliability
- Excellent communications and computer skills
- Highly organized
- Ability to work well in a team
- Familiarity with OfficeAlly software is a strong plus
