Medical Patient Services Representative Job at Orlando Health
We are looking for a committed Medical Patient Services Representative to join our team! In this position, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by welcoming and assisting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and telling them about services, treatments, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Take messages, answer phones, and respond to patient inquiries.Schedule appointments, verify insurance coverage, and collect co-payments.
Enter patient information into the medical records database.
Assist with registration and check-in procedures.
Provide patients with treatment, service, and procedure information.
Assist with any additional administrative duties that may arise.
A salary of $75,000 to $85,000 per year
It is necessary to have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Previous experience in customer service and/or medical office administration is desired.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Working ability in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance policies
Knowledge of computer and medical software programs
