Job Description


Sutherland is seeking analytical and attentive people to join us as part of a team performing AR follow-up in the Clifton, NJ area. In this role, you will be involved in eligibility checks and related data entry. This will include checking claim status with payers; working payer denials; and keeping systems current with related worked account information.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Medicaid billing (Hospital/Physician), Medicaid Follow Up (Hospital/Physician) and related Medicaid guidelines
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Experience handling hospital AR
  • Knowledge of medical billing terminology
  • Enjoy working with others; a team Ppayer
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Data Entry Support
  • ability to train in our Clifton, NJ office for the first 6-8 weeks for training
