Carolina Urology Partners, PLLC is the largest, most comprehensive urology group in the Carolinas and is the 9th largest group in the country. We have 27 physicians, more than 200 employees, and 13 urology clinics in convenient locations throughout the Carolinas.

We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant or LPN for our office in Mooresville, NC. This position will be responsible for assisting in the examination and treatment of patients under Physician direction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinates patient movement and transport from general waiting room to required treatment area
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight and height; records information on patient charts
• Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients
• Drapes patients with covering and positions instruments/equipment as necessary
• Hands instruments/materials to Physician when necessary
• Cleans and sterilizes instruments in accordance to approved OSHA guidelines and procedures
• Inventories and orders medical supplies/materials
• Keys data into computer system to maintain office and patient records
• Acts as backup to Front Office staff when necessary

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Completion of a Medical Assisting, Nursing or Nursing Aid program
• Current certification or registration as Medical Assistant preferred
• Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, staff members and Physicians
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

**Pay is negotiable based on experience**
