Our family medicine clinic needs a self-motivated CNA/medical assistant to join our team. Full or part-time positions are available. Primary responsibilities include room patients and obtain vitals, administer immunizations, maintain and document in EMR. May be required to collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. Answer telephones, screen callers, relay messages and greet visitors as needed.

Requires a high school diploma and medical assistant certificate or certified nursing assistant. New graduates welcome. Qualified candiates will need a Nebraska Medication Aide, which we can assist in renewing or applying for license. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Perform a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Room patients and obtain chief complaint, health history, and vitals. Documents patient information in the EMR.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist when needed.
• Administers treatments and medications at the direction of the physician.
• Conducts labs testing and prepares specimens for testing.
• Works as float between front and back office.
• Complies with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA compliance policies while performing all duties.
• All other duties as assigned.
