Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
We are an independent practice seeking a friendly, compassionate, and organized CMA, certified medical assistant to join our growing team. In this role as a certified medical assistant, you will work directly with the physicians and other staff to ensure that we provide the best medical care in a welcoming and professional environment.

CMA Responsibilities and Duties

• Communicate with physicians regarding patient conditions and visit details
• Prep charts in advance of patients’ visits
• Room patients
• Maintain patients' medical records in EMR
• Schedule procedures, follow up appointments, labs, and imaging
• Call in prescriptions and e-prescribe medication through EMR
• Perform patient call backs in a timely fashion
• Uphold the positive reputation of our medical office by always treating patients in a friendly, welcoming, and compassionate manner

CMA Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in medical assisting
• Previous certified medical assistant experience 2+ years working in a busy multi-specialty office preferred
• Familiarity with common medications
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
