We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill our Back Office Medical Assistant position. The candidate will work directly with patients, answering questions and documenting the medical process. Our Back Office Medical Assistant is responsible for maintaining confidentiality and assisting patients with scheduling appointments. The right candidate will be responsible for updating patient records, maintaining patient confidentiality and handling customer calls.
Responsibilities:
- Send medications through EMR system
- Room patients and assist with the doctor's during the visit
- Knowledge of Podiatry is a plus
- Order, obtain, and maintain supplies.
- Collect and review medical records.
- Prevent infection of equipment and supplies.
- Perform daily inventory check of all supplies.
- Manage and prioritize office tasks, such as sending faxes, filing documents, and making copies.
