This opportunity is ideal for an individual who is passionate about working in the eye care industry. We are looking for a well-rounded, personable professional who has the capacity to work independently as well as in a team environment. This individual will be responsible for performing administrative and clerical tasks in addition to assisting the optometrist directly with patient check-in, medical screening and basic examinations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for eye examinations.
- Perform ophthalmic tests, such as Tonometry and Refraction, Vissual Fields and OCT
- Maintain proper records concerning patient treatment.
- Document patient treatment in the medical record.
- Assist with limited surgery procedures.
- Assist optometrist.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
