MyCare Health Center is seeking Medical Assistants to join our multi-location health center in Macomb County! We have positions available at both our Center Line and Mt. Clemens locations. The position of Medical Assistant performs assistance to medical staff in the examination and treatment of patients under general supervision. All medical assistants actively participate in the Patient Care Team by pre-planning office visits, morning group huddles, educating patients and orienting them to improve their health.

State of Michigan Certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days is required. The ideal candidates will have 1+ years of experience in medical assisting in a Family Practice setting. Must have flexibility M-F 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. This position may be assigned to either our Center Line or Mt Clemens location, with flexibility to work at either site as requested. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Completion of a technical education program for medical assisting and Medical Assistant Certification is required within 90 days of employment, if not currently certified.

1-2 years of medical assisting experience in a family medicine environment is preferred.

All employees are required to maintain a current BLS/CPR certification and training will be provided if needed.
