This opportunity is extremely rewarding and is much different from typical Medical Assistant day to day responsibilities. As an RPM (Remote Patient Monitoring) specialist, your responsibility will be to run MediCorHealths Patient Monitoring platform.

Our platform requires you to schedule appointments for purposes of RPM patient enrollment, EHR/EMR navigation, insurance verification, monthly patient interaction/education, clinical staff interaction, record keeping, monitor patients for blood pressure and weight vitals though our software that communicates, in real time, with the device you give to the patient.

Each enrolled patient is given either a BP or weight scale device. These devices, like your phone, are cellular. Daily, using their new device, patients take their BP or weight from home. These vitals are transmitted, in real time, as each test is complete. Our software alerts for any vital needing attention. Your responsibility is to call the patient to question for symptoms and identify if an emergency situation is present. You would then, message the patients provider as to your findings.

In addition to handling patient alert vitals, you will be required to have monthly interaction with each of your assigned patients. This interaction is done by either a phone call or an in-person visit. During your interaction, you are required to discuss with the patient or the patients caregiver their care plan and medication management.

This opportunity also allows, as needed, for you to work from home.
