Orthopedic Medical Assistant
California Orthopaedic Institute has an immediate opening for an EXPERIENCED back office Orthopedic Medical Assistant in our 6 Physician Orthopedic surgery group. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of back office medical assisting experience. Candidates with Orthopedic experience are preferred. This candidate must understand the referral and authorization process and have computer and electronic medical record skills. Knowledge of various insurances, including Workers Compensation, HMO's, PPO's, Medicare, etc. is necessary. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
This is a Full-Time, Monday thru Friday position with excellent benefits including medical, vision & dental insurance, 401K & 401K matching as well as profit sharing. Salary is commensurate with experience.
New grads and candidates with less than 2-3 years of CURRENT M.A. experience NEED NOT apply. This is an extremely busy practice and requires excellent organizational and technical skills as well as energy, current knowledge and experience. The ability to multi-task is a must.
