JOB TITLE: Camp Medical Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Senior Director of J Camps or Registered Nurse if a CMT
STATUS: Seasonal

SUMMARY:
Registered Nurse or Certified Medication Training (CMT) to provide excellent medical care to campers age 4-15 as a part of J Camps an ACA Accredited Day Camp. Opportunity to use medical skills in a fun setting with wonderful staff perks!
Length of Position:
1. Attend certification trainings if applicable
2. Attend 3 Leadership meetings prior to summer
3. Attend Camp Orientation
4. Set-up of medical office prior to the start of camp
5. Ful-ltime hours June 12 – August 25
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to spend time sitting and using a computer, laptop or phone. The employee may also be required to frequently be on their feet for periods of time.
The work environment is usually fast paced. This job requires high energy and interaction with staff as well as campers.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer Epi-Pen Injections
- Administer Basic First Aid
- Administer Medications
- Maintain Medical Records and Documentation
- Communicate regularly with parents, campers and staff as needed
- Assist with snack food preparation
- Heavily participate in meeting the needs of Inclusion Campers
- Ensure that the facility is kept clean and safe, sot that children are in a safe and comfortable environment
- Ensure that campers know and follow safety procedures
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience at summer camp or similar environment preferred
- Degree in Nursing or Certified Medication Training (CMT) required if not a registered Nurse
- Minimum of two years of experience working with youth
- Willingness to follow and give directions and work as a team member
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Great attitude
