Mediation Clinic Data Assistant Job at Chapman University
Under general supervision of the Co-Directors of the Mediation Clinic, assists with various administrative duties related to statistical analysis of quantitative and qualitative data for work with youth in the Riverside County Conflict Resolution/ Restorative Justice programs, including Pathways to Success. This person will utilize both STATA and NVivo software for data handling and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Primary job duties include data entry, data analysis, grant reporting, and assisting the Mediation Clinic Co-Director(s) and administrative staff with various projects as assigned.
- Interpersonal communication to work collaboratively with the Co-Directors of the Mediation Clinic and administrative staff while completing grant reports and other projects as assigned.
- Developing other tools as needed to translate data for use on grant reporting.
- Undergraduate degree in a similar and/or related field.
- Possess working knowledge of Stata and NVivo.
- Experience in producing, analyzing, and compiling quantitative and qualitative outputs/reports of data.
- Understanding of how to compose credible and reliable survey instruments for measuring quantitative and qualitative data.
- Able to work collaboratively with the Mediation Clinic Co-Director(s) to create focused data entry, interpretation, and reporting that accurately and adequately reports patterns and themes of rehabilitating Youth in the Pathways to Success program.
- Familiarity with the Pathways to Success program for Youth criminal offenders.
- Familiarity with the principles of Restorative Justice, Mediation, and Conflict Resolution.
- Experience as a mediator or Youth mentor.
