Specific License or Certification Required: Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license.

Purpose of Classification:

Responsible for management of Digital Services, including oversight of website content, collaboration with departments to execute digital projects.

Essential Functions:

The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned.

Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff: develops and oversees employee work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and control; compiles and reviews timesheets; approves/processes employee concerns and problems and counsels or disciplines as appropriate; assists with or completes employee performance appraisals; directs work; acts as a liaison between employees and management; and trains staff in operations, policies, and procedures.

Organizes, prioritizes, and assigns work: prioritizes and schedules work activities in order to meet objectives; ensures that subordinates have the proper resources needed to complete the assigned work; monitors status of work in progress and inspects completed work; consults with assigned staff to assist with complex/problem situations and provide technical expertise; provides progress and activity reports to management; and assists with the revision of procedure manuals as appropriate.

Develop and implement digital content strategy that aligns with Fulton County priorities; manage development of content for all digital properties including, websites, social media channels, and applications; stay on top of new trends, features, and products in digital content production and implements as appropriate to increase County audience and engagement.

Prepares and develops digital presentations and graphic materials in support of County events, meetings, publications, training, and other programs; create digital content through writing, designing, photographing and recording, and editing. Manage staff creation content.

Monitors effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs and analyzes, reviews, and reports on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results; track performance of digital content and develop monthly reports regarding performance of digital properties.

Ensure that digital content meets all applicable branding standards, plain language standards, style guidelines and reflects organizational values and priorities; develop and manage implementation of strategy for search engine optimization.

Provides regular feedback and insights gained from social media monitoring to stakeholders to help them evolve their strategies in a timely fashion; develop and implement training programs.

Manages a variety of technical applications, including social media, web, mobile applications, e-news, e-mail and others: manages content for internal and external audiences; works with vendors to prepare technology platforms; provides technical support to application users as needed.

Operates a personal computer to enter, retrieve, review or modify data, utilizing word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, Internet, e-mail, or other software: and operates general office or other equipment as necessary to complete essential functions.

Communicates with County officials and department heads, supervisor, other employees, third party service contractors, the public, and other individuals as needed to coordinate work activities, review status of work, exchange information, or resolve problems.
