Media Coordinator Job at Newsday Media Group
The Media Coordinator will be responsible for navigating Newsday's video archives and moving archival footage in our Sony Cloud storage system. This is a part-time, temporary position.
Essential Duties & Functions
- Navigating Newsday's video archives, gathering archival photos and videos, as well as other elements of a video project, and uploading that project into a new cloud-based archiving system.
- The candidate will also have to keep track of multiple uploads simultaneously.
Essential Job Knowledge & Skills
- The candidate should understand general news and video production terminology.
- The candidate must have a working knowledge of MacIntosh systems. Understanding video editing in Adobe Premiere is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with limited guidance.

Compensation
- The hourly base rate range for this role is $17.00-$17.00.
