- Provides guidance to staff and students in the effective use of media center services.

Performs duties that facilitate the effective delivery of elementary-level media services.

Works effectively with limited supervision. Performs tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.

Work with the principal to develop/implement a plan for teacher and student use of the media center. Develops procedures and implements technology cart schedules.

Organize and implement circulation desk and lending system routines.

Maintain organization of books (shelving, damage, replacement, etc.).

Assist teachers with student use of the media center.

Maintain accurate records on book check-ins and check-outs.

Maintain media center appearance (i.e., designs/maintain bulletin boards and book displays, re-shelves books, etc.

Organizes/implements daily check-in and check-out procedures for shared technology.

Monitors technology for damage or loss

Develops/implements security procedures for technology cart(s) storage.

Monitors/maintains media center computer labs.
-
Provides classroom teachers with general technology support services.
