Job Function:
To develop engineering solutions from concept through detail design, manufacturing, testing, installation and delivery.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ability to produce and develop design concepts into working engineering solutions.
- Produce manufacturing detail drawings incorporating limits and fits, welding symbols, geometric tolerances and surface finish
- Produce full engineering calculations to support designs
- Produce technical reports and documents
- Ability to specify components/systems based on calculations and relevant practical experience
- Interact with other engineering disciplines.
- Work as part of a design team.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes.
- Ability to operate both 2D and 3D design software packages.
- Working knowledge of current design/safety legislation.
- Working knowledge of designing equipment under ISO 9001 or NQA-1 Quality Assurance Programs
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience; nuclear or high hazardous remote special purpose machinery design preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 2 years experience with Solidworks and Autodesk Inventor

Pay: $77,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
