Job Title: Mechanic
Compensation: $26-$33/hr., based on experience
Due to a huge growth in our business, we are looking to add an experienced mechanic to our team. We would love it if you have experience with construction equipment and/or diesel vehicles. Because of the growth in our business and a recent promotion we really need to find some great talent. We are looking for someone with at least Intermediate to Master level experience.

What you need:
High School Diploma or GED
Ideally, experience as a mechanic or maintenance mechanic
Basic knowledge of construction equipment preferred
Lift up to 50 lbs
Valid driver’s license with clean record
Job description:
- Report directly to the Branch Manager daily for a list of priorities and /or assignments for the day.
- Repair and maintain engines used to power small equipment
- Repair and maintain various heavy construction equipment
- Test and inspect engines to determine malfunctions
- Adjust points, valves, carburetors, distributors, and spark plugs
- Reassemble engines after repair or maintenance work is complete
- Record repairs made, time spent, and parts used
- Provide customer service; taking care of customers in the yard, giving proper instruction of equipment use and answer maintenance questions
- Equipment prep: ensure equipment is fully serviced, inspected, tagged, and recorded
- Breakdown list: add or removing equipment on the list, ensuring list is accurate and being worked on everyday
- Order parts needed to keep equipment running properly
- Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on all equipment in the rental fleet
- Direct communication with Manager to ensure all duties are being fulfilled in accordance with Superior Policies.
- Must maintain a professional attitude and work in a team environment
- Observe all Safety policies and procedures for the Company.
- Ensure all customers are responded to in an efficient, timely, professional and respectful manner.
