Cosmo International Fragrances is an established and growing manufacturer of fragrances with international operations in Europe and Asia. We are seeking a Materials Handler to join our team in Deerfield Beach.

Summary: Performs packing of finished goods, cleaning production utility containers, and stocking raw materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:

• Weight and label products according to manufacturing orders

• Stock incoming raw materials in designated production containers and shelves

• Perform verification of raw materials inventory

• Reports packaging materials stock levels

• Move products to designated areas

• Disposal of any empty containers and any other scrap or trash materials

• Report any equipment malfunction

• Ensure accuracy during dispensing and weighing. (Knowledge of raw materials will have an effect on quality)

• Responsible for the quality control process

• Perform handling of materials, including hazardous materials

• Inspect the appearance of raw materials before restocking to assure quality standards for color

• Pack finished products according to packing instructions, OWI-750-004

• Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Requirements:

• Must have a High School diploma or general education degree (GED), one or two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A forklift experience is required and basic computer skills.
• English is required, Spanish is a plus.
