Material handler - Hobart, IN

$20/hr.

Aerotek is looking to hire 6 Material Handlers in Hobart, IN, with minimum of 1 year of Material handling and 1 year of any forklift operating experience. Our clients provide weekly paychecks, career growth, and a great work culture.

Responsibilities:

• Operating various forklifts sit- down and stand-up.
• Shipping and receiving.
• Experience moving long items such as beams, lumber, or other items exceeding the size of a standard pallet.
• Palletizing and breaking down orders.
• Inspecting products for quality.
• Counting products and doing physical inventory checks.
• Stocking shelves.
• Picking and packaging orders.
• Loading and unloading of trucks.

Work Environment:

• This is a large warehouse facility.
• They have 18 total aisle of product. It is a very clean facility.
• Hot environment in warehouse.
• The facility is state of the art and has an award winning culture.

Shift and Pay:

• 2nd shift: 3 pm - 11 pm.
• 3rd shift: 11 pm - 7 am.
• $20/hr.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 1 year of material handling experience.
• 1 year of any forklift operating experience.
• Prefer having experience moving steel tubing with a forklift.
• Prefer having experience operating a forklift within a lumber yard.
• Required to have a HSD/GED.
