Material Handler: 2nd Shift Job at ICM Controls Corp.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily:
- Obtains approved materials from Receiving Department and distributes these to the manufacturing floor as well as to Mezzanine or offices areas. Refers to labels to determine destination of parts or refers to spreadsheet where labels are missing.
- Enters location as needed where part number is missing and informs Stockroom Clerk or Supervisor to ensure new or corrected information is documented into company information system.
- Responds to materials/parts requests from Production Supervisors, obtaining and delivering to the Storeroom or production floor.
Weekly:
- Maintains watch over packaging and chemical supplies to ensure adequate supplies are on hand.
- Reviews packaging material supplies to ensure sufficiency. Writes down part numbers for ‘clamshell’ and reports any discrepancies to Stockroom Clerk or Supervisor.
- Performs counts of chemical containers for Board Shop using spreadsheet to check needed versus available.
- Advises Stockroom Clerk who enters orders where shortages exist or are anticipated.
