LOCATION: Mount Vernon, OH, USA

If you are a CNC Programmer with Mastercam experience looking for an exciting challenge, then this could be the job for you. Ariel is looking for a precision machinist who has in-depth experience with MasterCam programming software to join our team. In this position, you will be charged with supporting programming needs on multi-axis CNC machines, performing first-article testing on high tolerance parts, and providing technical expertise on the use of MasterCam.

This position is ideal for someone who is:

• Knowledgeable - in precision machining, including the set-up, programming, and operation of multi-axis CNC mills, lathes, and grinders to produce high tolerance machined components
• Skilled - in using the MasterCam software package to plan processes and develop fixturing, tooling, and complex machine programs
• Collaborative - enjoys partnering with various manufacturing areas to determine best way to program the machine tool to maximize safety, efficiency, part quality and accuracy
• Resourceful - provides technical leadership on machining issues related to programming
• Detail-oriented - likes doing work that requires high attention to detail

• Accountable - enjoys working in a hands-on capacity and doing work that has a direct impact on the business

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer required
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Mastercam 2019-2023; Mastercam certification preferred.
• Ability to run various CNC machines required (lathes, mills, grinders); as well as ability to read G and M code
• Experience with precision instruments including micrometers, calipers, and indicators; ability to read manufacturing prints
• Strong understanding of machining speeds and feeds
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to apply geometric and trig functions to solve machining calculations
